I’m Sarah. A trusted, experienced class teacher and ex-Deputy Head in the Belper area.

After 17 years working within the community and teaching hundreds of amazing children in Derbyshire, Amber Valley Learning and Support is my way of reaching out further - to as many young people as possible - and helping them to realize their potential.

Anyone who has faced and overcome a barrier to learning knows that resilience, an open mind and, in the end, confidence, are key. This is what I aim to instill in all of the students I work with.

Whether what is needed is revision, exam technique, revisiting gaps in learning or a confidence boost, my tutoring sessions are tailored to fit the needs of your child in ways that work for them.
